WP E-Commerce Product Log http://www.esbresources.co.uk/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp-shopping-cart/display-log.php This is the WP E-Commerce Product List RSS feed WP E-Commerce Plugin Truthformation http://www.esbresources.co.uk/?page_id=3&product_id=1 “The key to changing our behaviour is through establishing a belief system which is built on a foundation of truth." This is the simple yet powerful premise, which Truthformation explores. Often, much energy is poured into behavioural patterns, without ever addressing the belief system, which fuels such behaviour. The power of truth is such that when engaged with, it can radically alter the way we think and empower us to say no to the patterns of the planet, while at the same time experiencing transformation of lifestyle. Truthformation’s appeal is that for lasting change to take place on the outside, truth-change must take place on the inside. Truth not only challenges what we think about, but how we actually think, probing the framework of our belief system which in turn dictates to how we live and what we live for. This book encourages you to open up your mind and engage with truth, in the confidence that truth will do the rest. As Jesus said; “…you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Mon, 06 Sep 2010 09:40:45 +0100 http://www.esbresources.co.uk/?page_id=3&product_id=1 Rest http://www.esbresources.co.uk/?page_id=3&product_id=2 God did not just put Adam and Eve in the garden to work, He placed them there to enjoy. Jesus did not only come to save the world, He came to show the world how to live life abundantly. We are not just here to ‘do stuff’, but we are here to live well, worship well and love well. There is established in the Bible a principle called REST, revealed in the opening pages of the Bible and unwrapped throughout.

God has given us REST so that we may enjoy life and in turn be great adverts for His life on the earth. Too many of us are working and not resting, living and not laughing, achieving and not enjoying. Look at Jesus, He had the weight of the world on His shoulders and yet He was a man at REST, loving people, living life joyfully while still totally focused on His mission.

If we learn to REST we will live and work well. If we embrace REST, we will not only make it to the destination, but we will have enjoyed the journey.

John proclaims confidently: “GOD IS LOVE!” He, like the other writers of the Bible, invites us to open up the Book and find God, the God of love. This is the most breath-taking, awe-inspiring expression of God’s very nature. To grasp this is to find God and discover life. Yet my experience is that both within and without the Church, few ever find the God that is Love. Why is the God who is love, the best kept secret in the universe? You would think that such a prospect would be celebrated and enjoyed in the Church, trumpeted and proclaimed to a dying world. Yet somehow, this glorious truth, this life-giving message, this world-changing power, has been among the most neglected in pulpits and in mission. The story that God is love, languishes in dusty recesses, under a pile of issues deemed weightier and more important. But what could be more important than the understanding that at the heart of the universe, at the core of the Church and in the engine room of mission, lies the unshakeable, immeasurable reality that God is love? The message of this book is simple yet powerful profound, you are loved, because God is love and to discover His love is to find life itself. Every delight and delicacy you can think of, given as a free gift… and all yours! But imagine keeping all that chocolate to yourself, gorging selfishly each day, content with the goal of self-satisfaction, while so many around you have never tasted your special chocolate even once and others don’t even know it exists. In Mission is like a Box of Chocolates, the gift of God’s grace is likened to receiving Heaven’s Chocolate and the call to sharing it with the joy of mission. Those who follow Jesus have received everything they need for life and Godliness. They have been blessed in Christ Jesus with every spiritual blessing, with the opportunity to walk secure in the knowledge of God’s love, instructed by His Word and empowered by His Spirit. Like Augustus Gloop and his four friends they are ‘golden ticket holders. This book calls those who have already received Heaven’s Chocolate to consider sharing it with those who have never tasted it and others who don’t know it exists, that our focus would move away from asking for more, to looking at ways in which we can share what we have. Our Heavenly Father wants us to enjoy our Chocolate… but He also calls us to share! On discovering the enemies camp deserted and untold riches at their disposal, the four lepers concluded; “We’re not doing right. This is a day of good news and we are keeping it to ourselves.” That’s the passionate cry of this book. It is not written to condemn those who have, in the light of those who have not. It is not designed to use guilt as a weapon for mission motivation. Instead, it is a simple appeal to all who have freely received from Heaven’s generosity… that they would in turn freely give to those hungry to taste the life of God. Each chapter contains a Life by Chocolate section, in which true stories are related of how someone shared Heaven’s Chocolate, resulting in a revolutionized life. You will meet Chocolate Champions, some of whom you might know while other names may be new to you. However, all of them have one thing in common, they unreservedly responded to the call of Christ to share what they had with a dying world and the results have been amazing. At the conclusion of each chapter, you will be invited to Open the Box. Hidden within are simple practical steps to help you get involved in Chocolate sharing. Step by step, by the end of this book, provided your heart is open to the Holy Spirit, your attitude to mission will have changed and someone’s life will be enriched because of your contribution. ‘Strictly defined, chocolate is simply a food product made from roasted, ground cocoa beans. To chocolate lovers around the world, however, it becomes a divine substance that makes life worth living.’ To those who have never encountered Heaven’s Chocolate, religion seems lifeless, irrelevant and unattractive. However, once truly tasted, they will realize they cannot live without it. Thousands each day are making this awesome discovery, made possible only because someone, somewhere in possession of Heaven’s Chocolate decided to share. Perhaps today, that someone could be you! Moving Beyond Mediocrity is a book written to help us negotiate such a journey. Too many want to arrive at destinations of success cheaply and easily. They want glory without pain, recognition without rejection, prosperity without generosity and as much success with as few shakes as possible. However, as someone once said, ‘there are no short-cuts to anywhere that’s worth going.’ Though God’s plans for us are hope-filled and glorious, the journey to them will not be without turbulence. The serious pilgrim seeks to understand this truth and settle it within them once and for all.’ Mon, 06 Sep 2010 09:40:45 +0100 http://www.esbresources.co.uk/?page_id=3&product_id=6 Identity Theft http://www.esbresources.co.uk/?page_id=3&product_id=7 Identity theft is on the increase like never before in our society and we are being urged to protect our identity at all costs. This might be a new challenge to some but the problem is as old as the Bible itself. Since the beginning of time, satan has sought to steal or confuse our identity. He knows that identity is linked to destiny and he fears the fact that someone might discover the explosive combination of who we are and who God is. This book gives insight into how we can discover and protect our identity. Without it we will be defined and controlled by people’s opinions, postcodes or circumstances, but with it, we can be more than conquerors, by living the life we were designed to live. Without the rudder of forgiveness we are at the mercy of the storms. Without the treasure of forgiveness we are impoverished and bankrupt and without the presence of forgiveness we are alone, with only our pain and disappointment for company. Our world needs the real F word like never before and forgiveness calls for our attention, hoping for an audience and desperate for an opportunity. Given a chance, this one word, this gloriously offensive word can change us as individuals and the world we inhabit. If we dare to embrace it we will see its power at work.” Mon, 06 Sep 2010 09:40:45 +0100 http://www.esbresources.co.uk/?page_id=3&product_id=9
